Welcome to Old School Fishing Charters!
Captain Michael
Captain Michael started Old School Fishing Charters in 2004, a year after he earned his USCG Certified Captain's License. He got it so he could earn money during the summers off from his teaching position in Currituck County Schools. Captain Michael has retired from teaching and has now combined his two passions – teaching and fishing, by running a fishing charter boat.
Old School Fishing Charters features a 21’ Carolina Skiff Ultra Elite Series boat called Touch of Grey. She can fit 6 guests and is equipped with a 150 HP Suzuki four stroke outboard engine. It also boasts a Minnkota Terova trolling motor, an 8’ Power Pole shallow water anchor, Simrad Pro 9 GPS / fishfinder / depth finder, and a Northstar VHF radio. There’s also an ice-box you can use and a livewell.
